Alt indie 4-piece Luna Blue hail from Brighton, UK.   Apparently bastard sons of Two Door Cinema Club and Foals, Luna Blue are amassing a loyal following through their signature high-energy music, working with producer (Fickle Friends member) Jack Wilson on FOUR new tracks out this year.

February anthem 2003 landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday and Apple editorial playlists, and April’s Next Day Delivery Dreams on Spotify Fresh Finds editorial, also entering the Spotify global chart.  July drop Crash My Car landed BBC Introducing & BBC Radio Cumbria’s ‘further afield’ pick.  Final track of ‘23 – Rockstar (October) was BBC Introducing Track of the Day & can be found gracing some top Apple playlists

CHARITABLE SUPPORT

Having played several virtual fundraisers during lockdown including Seb’s 24-hour Nirvana Drumathon (which raised a massive £1375 for #SaveOurVenues) Luna Blue recorded Over The Moon Festival in Nov 2020 - 6 tracks specially recorded at Brighton Electric Studio, including a soulful cover of Michael Jackson’s Earth Song.  The event raised £500 for Animals Asia the band’s adopted charity, with a further £700 raised during a live show in Exeter at the end of January 2022.

PRESS QUOTES

ALL  NIGHT : 'Good tune - and good band name too'  Dermot & Holly : ITV This Morning - June 2023

It doesn't feel like they have any weaknesses: strong song-writing, vocals and musicianship, combined with an energy that makes Bastille look sluggish; mark Luna Blue down as a 'real deal' band ... Dart Music Festival : 2023

‘Luna Blue produce indie rock/pop that fans of Two Door Cinema Club and Glass Animals should like.  Having graced the airwaves of BBC Radio Surrey, BBC Radio Sussex and a BBC Introducing Live Lounge session, they're definitely on an upward trajectory: very polished with a strong commercial edge that should appeal to many - these lads obviously know where they’re heading and the future looks bright.’
Tom Robinson: BBC Radio 6 & Fresh on the Net
